Low back pain

My own interest in back pain (BP) stems from suffering from this condition sporadically for approximately the last 20 years. However, BP is surprisingly common: approximately 80% of people will experience BP in their lifetimes (Maniadakis and Gray, 2000), and is therefore a common cause of lifestyle debilitation. Clearly, reducing this pain is paramount in improving quality of life.
Since becoming a personal trainer and specialising in managing BP, the frequency and intensity of my BP episodes have been markedly reduced. This success has also boosted my self-confidence; by managing the BP, I can cope with my every day life far better than before when it comes to physical activity. I also have passed on my experience to clients who have suffered from BP and have seen definite postive outcomes after training with me.
If you suffer from BP, get in touch and we can have a formal assessment of the likely cause and severity of the problem. We can then compile a training program that is safe for you to do, and will reduce your BP and increase your strength.
Believe me that, from years of experience, it is worth addressing the problem and making it manageable rather than ignoring it.
